On Push Girls
So I just watched the Pilot of Push Girls…
It pretty much seems like inspiration porn to me. The women are all conventionally attractive, thin, feminine, and most of them were paralyzed in accidents. None of them were born disabled. There’s lots of talk about how active they were before they were paralyzed, an slots of focus on how they can do normal things. They’re just like us! They can use the computer and drive! OMG! WTF?!
It feels so voyeuristic to me! I get really uncomfortable watching it.
